Yoga for Sexual Wellness

Emily is a sexual embodiment coach and is the Founder of Yoga for Sexual Wellness. She specializes in supporting her students in removing the obstacles holding them back from their self-healing. As a thought leader for the modern world, her mission is to support people in liberating themselves from any constraints preventing them from living their best life and aligning with their deepest passion and most complete expression of themselves. 

Her work in sexuality & relationships is deeply informed by the Eastern sexual healing arts of the Taoists & Tantrikas. From her first introduction to sacred sexuality, she felt her calling to help herself & others reclaim the spiritual nature of sex.

Emily is a certified yoga professional with backgrounds in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, trauma-sensitivity, pelvic floor yoga, and medical cardiac yoga. Her continuing education includes energy healing, bodywork and movement with Tom Myers of Anatomy Trains, Buddhist studies, Eastern sexual healing & philosophy, and alignment-focused yoga with Doug Keller. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, is a mother of two, and is a forever student of yoga, meditation, vitality, and joie de vivre.

Emily provides Yoga for Sexual Wellness in person at our Kentucky site and virtually everywhere else. She offers an incredibly unique practice which focuses on guiding our clients to enhance their sexual health.

Did you know that research has been showing yoga as being one of the most beneficial practices to sexual health? However, not many people know that there are professionals out there providing yoga with an emphasis on sexual health, like Emily.

Not all yoga is created equal.

This is not your typical yoga class that you pop in on Saturday. Emily has educated herself and created a niche for our clients around going deeper in understanding themselves and their sexual self .

When working with Emily you’ll start out by having an in-depth conversation to assess for what direction will be best for you in your time with Emily. She will then guide you through specific, corrective postures while incorporate the mind-body component that is so important for our sexual health. Lastly, Emily engages in some verbal processing to wrap up you time together.

Each posture is a conversation with that part of the body that is being focused on. Emily guides you in listening to that conversation.

Through our work with clients we find that many people who walk through out doors are disconnected or dissociated from their bodies. Have you ever stopped to notice what your pelvic floor feels like? Yeah, we haven’t met many people who have. We see this every day in our therapy sessions. Yoga helps turn the volume up on the body + mind information, which can help reduce sexual pain, trauma, anxiety, stress, depression … all of which contribute to low sexual energy and sexual health challenges.

Emily gets that this practice is incredibly vulnerable. No talking to your penis the moment you walk in ;). The process goes as slow as the participant needs. Emily meets each client where they’re at and never pushes beyond comfort zones.

Safety is a pre-requisite to pleasure.


  • Sexual Pain Group:

    4 weeks, 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday January 12th. Space is limited. Whether you have vaginismus, vulvodynia, painful ejaculations … this class will teach you about how to listen to your body in a way that can help reduce your pain symptoms and sometimes eliminate them all together.
  • Ongoing weekly class focused on reducing Anxiety and Depression:

    Are you looking to slow down the chatter in your head? Anxiety and depression are found to be two of the main reasons why someone experiences low sexual desire, vaginismus, erectile dysfunction and many other sexual problems. This class focuses on reducing anxiety and depression while incorporating sexual health components and conversation.
  • Couples and relationships:

    Feeling disconnected? Emily provides a space where you learn to listen to your own body and to also learn to listen to your partner’s body. This allows couples and relationships to learn how to grow closer in mind and body. Increase connection and attunment Grieve together
  • Individual Offering:

    Just like in talk therapy where we need to work on areas of our life on an individual basis, the same is true for yoga. Sometimes we need that one on one attention to work on our sexual health goals, whether thats becoming more in-tune with your pelvic floor, working on sexual trauma, decreasing performance anxiety around erectile dysfunction, increasing connection with ones body for understanding ones sexual self… Emily guides you through evidence based approaches to help you meet your overall goals.

Due to the high quality of our sessions and the niche offered, our fees reflect the premium yoga you’ll be engaged in. This incorporates verbal processing along with yoga practice.

Session Fees:

  • Individual sessions: $165/hr
  • Couples and Relationships: $165/hr – $250 / 90 minutes
  • Groups: 2 hours $83.75/hr. ( $167 for the two hours). Usually 4 weeks at time.
  • Class: $100/75 minutes
