Jazmine earned her BA in Psychology from Wright State University in 2012, prior to pursuing a career in Counseling, and has worked in the social service industry as a Court Appointed Guardian/Advocate for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. 

Jazmine began her education, in the Counseling field, in 2014 where she majored in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During her time in graduate school, she additionally completed a master’s certificate in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling. 

Jazmine has worked with various populations including individuals, families, substance abuse, adults, and children/adolescence in outpatient and private practice settings. Jazmine enjoys utilizing her skill set in planning, resource connection, and public speaking to advocate for underserved and marginalized groups through community education and event coordination. 

Jazmine subscribes to an eclectic approach to counseling that aims to address client specific needs from a holistic approach considering mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Jazmine utilizes client- centered, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and solution focused therapeutic modalities. Jazmine aims to promote a non-judgmental, welcoming environment that encourages wellness, healing, and growth. 

As a Sex and Relationship Therapist, Jazmine aims to end the stigma regarding sex, intimacy, and sexual health to continue promotion of holistic wellness. Jazmine believes that sex and intimacy are a part of the human experience and aspires to assist her clients in having more fulfilling experiences and relationships by: navigating emotional concerns, that may contribute to sexual dysfunction, learn effective communication skills, challenge maladaptive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, provide education, related to sexual and mental health and function, and normalizing conversations regarding intimacy and sex.
