Leah Morris

Clinical Mental Health Counselor Trainee

My passion to help others is inspired by my personal experiences and my own mental health journey. After experiencing significant burnout in my previous career, in conjunction with a global pandemic and a deep desire to help others, I transitioned from the corporate world to a more fulfilling role by applying for my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

As a graduate student at Xavier University and a Counselor Trainee, I hope to provide a space for clients that is safe and open for exploration. With a deep understanding of chronic illness, sexual pain, and how that can impact our everyday lives and relationships, I strive to ensure that clients feel validated and understood in their journey to mental wellness. I look forward to working with adults by helping them to grow and heal while honoring their respective paths and the roads that led them to counseling.
