Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Melissa began her career working with individuals recovering from substance abuse and domestic violence offenders. She facilitated group therapy for cancer patients, survivors, and family of cancer patients. Melissa has experience with individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. She helps individuals with acute, complex, and chronic trauma to help guide individuals through understanding and healing. She utilizes Brainspotting techniques in a variety of ways to assist in healing and help individuals gain connections to their body.
Melissa is passionate about working with military and first responders with a variety of needs from PTSD, stress management, retirement, addiction, and sexual issues. Throughout her work, Melissa has experience with cultural and sexually diverse clients. She values creating open and accepting therapeutic relationships to work towards goals, personal growth and development.
Melissa utilizes an eclectic and holistic approach to counseling to assist each client through life transitions, gain insight into thoughts and behaviors, and work through barriers. She provides an environment that encourages wellness, healing, and growth.
Melissa is located in Indianapolis, IN and will be seeing clients virtually currently and in person soon. Her background is in business and leadership and can assist business leaders looking to gain personal growth and development while also managing stress.
