Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student

As a clinical counseling student, I understand how intimidating walking in the door for your first counseling session can be. Having previously worked for a community mental health agency, I gained experience in working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use related issues. I practice through a DBT, narrative, and LGBTQI+ affirmative lens. Through my training with Emma Schmidt & Associates, sex therapy is something I can offer as well. My specific approach in session is tailor-made to the client’s needs.

I grew up in a mental-health positive, sex-positive household, where I first learned that asking questions that might feel uncomfortable is the first step in learning. My office space is just that, a safe space where no question or conversation is too uncomfortable to be had. I look forward to working with you!
